Join CAS for our Centennial Celebration

For the past nine years the Convalescent Aid Society has held an annual Garden Party in October. This year the 10th annual Garden Party will evolve into the Centennial Celebration. We will honor the founders of the Convalescent Aid Society and acknowledge individuals that have continued to guide and support CAS through the years.

The 10th annual Garden Party evolves into a Centennial Celebration

The Centennial Celebration
Sunday October 29, 2023 at 4pm

The Centennial Celebration will be held at Castle Green, 99 South Raymond St, Pasadena, on Sunday October 29th from 4-7 PM. Castle Green is a nationally registered Historic Monument and officially designated Pasadena Treasure. Its gardens and ballroom have been host to many celebratory events during Pasadena’s history. It is also the place that the Convalescent Aid Society was founded in 1923.

At the Celebration you will enjoy food and beverages while listening to music of the decades and walking through the lovely gardens. The Opportunity Drawing will have lots of surprises as well as some of the original favorites. We will adjourn to the Castle Green ballroom for a program of amazement and wonder as well as cake and a champagne toast.

There will be other surprises and events at CAS to celebrate 100 years but you won’t want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to join us. This will truly mark an important watershed moment for the Convalescent Aid Society. We can’t wait to see you there!

Help support the Convalescent Aid Society's Centennial Celebration with a Sponsorship.

Get Involved!

There are several ways to become involved with the 100th Anniversary Celebration and here are some of them!

Become a Sponsor
Sponsors and donors are very important to the day to day work of the Convalescent Aid Society. CAS does not receive any government funding and is entirely reliant on individual and foundation donations. The Centennial Celebration is an opportunity to become a sponsor of CAS programs. Sponsorships vary from $1000 to $100,000. Visit our Sponsorship page for further information.
Donate to the Opportunity Drawing
The Opportunity Drawing is always a delightful part of the Garden Party. For the Centennial Celebration, CAS is looking for exciting experiences and artistic objects. If you have adventures to share, please contact Deborah Lewis at 626-793-1696 Ext 105 or deborah@cas1.org.
Volunteer
On October 29th CAS needs volunteers for the Centennial Celebration. Volunteers are essential to the event since they greet and welcome guests, register their attendance and answer questions, and sell tickets for the Opportunity Drawing. For more information and to get involved in the Centennial Year, please contact Deborah Lewis at 626-793-1696 Ext 105 or deborah@cas1.org.
